Based upon data from the Ohio Department of Health available at https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/covid-19/dashboards cross-referenced with the the visualization by Johns Hopkins University at https://bao.arcgis.com/covid-19/jhu/county/39007.html the following can be noted:

  • Ashtabula County ended October 2020 with 856 cumulative coronavirus cases reported. As of the reporting cutoff of 1900 UTC today the county sits at 890 which is a change of +34.
  • Ohio ended October 2020 with 215,697 cumulative coronavirus cases reported. As of the reporting cutoff of 1900 UTC today the state sits at 219,000 which is a change of +3,303.

The county continues at the third level of alert on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System which is otherwise referred to as “Red Alert”. The soonest that that can change is Thursday, November 5, 2020. As the county is on a trajectory towards meeting the CDC threshold for “high incidence” of coronavirus spread the chance of us getting away from that are slipping away.

It appears that work will continue in terms of response measures at Erie Looking Productions. I am not sure what the exact contours of all that will be at this time. All we can do is move forward.
