Based upon data from the Ohio Department of Health available at https://coronavirus.ohio.gov/wps/portal/gov/covid-19/dashboards cross-referenced with the the visualization by Johns Hopkins University at https://bao.arcgis.com/covid-19/jhu/county/39007.html the following can be noted:

  • Ashtabula County had on 2020-11-02 917 cumulative coronavirus cases reported. As of the reporting cutoff of 1900 UTC on 2020-11-03 the county sat at 927 which is a change of +10.
  • Ohio had on 2020-11-02 221,909 cumulative coronavirus cases reported. As of the reporting cutoff of 1900 UTC on 2020-11-03 the state sat at 226,138 which is a change of +4,229.

The county continues at the third level of alert on the Ohio Public Health Advisory System which is otherwise referred to as “Red Alert”. The soonest that that can change is Thursday, November 5, 2020. It appears likely that we will be designated a “high incidence” county at the next gubernatorial press conference which is anticipated on Thursday, November 5, 2020.
